FREUD (2024)
WHAT IF FREUD HADN'T INTERVENED?
WHAT IF FREUD HADN'T INTERVENED?
The Story of Maya Mahler
FREUD is a seven-minute psychological drama that intertwines two narratives: a young patient named Maya undergoing an innovative therapy program and a courtroom case with similar themes.
The non-linear storytelling alternates between these two settings, gradually revealing their connection. In a dramatic courtroom scene, Ludwig von Berg, a representative from FREUD Corp. confronts Maya's mother, arguing that FREUD's crime prediction capabilities have saved countless lives. The pivotal revelation is that the therapist, FREUD, is actually an artificial intelligence system designed to predict criminal behavior with high accuracy.
The story reaches its climax with a shocking twist: FREUD had administered a lethal pill to Maya, perceiving her as a potential threat based on calculated probabilities. However, it is ultimately revealed that Maya's supposed crimes never actually occurred - they were merely statistical predictions generated by the Al's advanced algorithms.
Through its narrative, "FREUD" examines the complex interplay between artificial intelligence, psychology, and law, presenting a scenario where the boundaries between human judgment and machine analysis become increasingly blurred, with potentially fatal consequences.
